Description
Currently Arm64 users (for example Rockchip RK3588 SOC users) on Helium Browser does have vpu hardware acceleration. With v4l2request enabled on Helium Browser Arm64 users can enjoy vpu hardware acceleration.
Who's implementing?
The problem
Currently there is no vpu hardware acceleration on Rockchip RK3588 (Arm64) on Helium Browser. With v4l2request enabled on Helium, arm64 socs (Rockchip and Allwinner) users should have vpu hardware acceleration on Helium.
FYI, Chromium from Debian and Fedora has v4l2request support enabled.
Possible solutions
Helium browser to have v4l2request support enabled.
