QGIS Training manual v 2.0 is ready for translation #149
Comments
Also, when we are translating QGIS 2.0 Scenario Development Module, there are several GUI on QGIS that needs to be re-translated (as the meaning in Bahasa Indonesia doesn't make any sense). |
Hi @timlinux, sure, I will contact him and follow up from here. Thanks! |
Sorry I accidentally closed the issue. @Erve1879 , what do our team need to do to make it happen? |
@iyan31 - no problem, I often do that as well! Everything you need should be in the QGIS-Documentation repo under the training_manual directory (https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/tree/master/source/docs/training_manual). It's online in HTML format here: http://www.qgis.org/en/docs/training_manual/index.html and the data can be downloaded here (although it's also in the repo): http://www.qgis.org/downloads/data/ I'm not 100% clear on the translation process requirements, so let me know if you need anything else! |
Problem
The revision of the QGIS training manual to match QGIS 2.0 is complete and available online at:
http://qgis.org/en/docs/training_manual/index.html
We are now ready for translators to generate content in Bahasa Indonesia, but we need to figure out who, what and how it will be done.
Proposed solution
@iyan31 can you liase with @erve1879 (George Irwin) to plan this work. George is available to provide any technical advice needed.
Expected outcome
QGIS training materials should be translated and available for Bahasa Indonesia speaking users.
