Home page hero background image without gradient

The hero container background image used on the Home page comes with a background gradient. The asset (MacBook with Plex application) should be a transparent PNG without any background. A drop-shadow does not need to be included in the PNG asset because a drop-shadow filter can render it in the client.

Benefits from rendering the background gradient via CSS property:

• Enhanced responsive layout
• Resolution independence
• 10-bit color support
• Reduced file size
