FTBA server does not auto update with restart to new version of modpack

specifically modpack id 100 (stoneblock3)
i ahve to remove the minecraft server jar the .tb installed file and the installer executable pack while the container is stopped ((stored ont eh persisten volume with the data)
then restart the server with a -recreate option to get it to force update to the latest version ..

just a recreate by itself does not make it update.

how to fix this ? can it autodetect the change in server modpack version and trigger a restart when idle (for updating) or flag it to be updated on next restart ?

The container is using FTBA's own installer. This would be a great feature for them to implement.

postive but snarky at the same time i like it
it has a version number env variable one shows it should autoupdate with leaving it blank. .but it doesnt and the entire container needs rebuild and manual deleteion of old files as they store it in /data

also how wouldyou do all the mods 8 on curseforge to work with auto update.. the current examples dont work and agian its manually configured as 'forge' and then install the files by hand

After reviewing the code, I also see what you mean. Can you provide your container config and/or set DEBUG to "true" and provide those container startup logs?
