Description
Tick is built atop the concept of pluggable backends, meaning it functions as a standard local to do list app on it's own, and can optionally be linked to sync destinations to share lists across devices.
Git makes sense as a backend as it captures changes to your lists over time. Additionally, GitHub Markdown allows us to natively render checkboxes, meaning you can view and interact with your to do list on platforms which Tick doesn't support. For example:

- Done this one :tick:
