I have a set of videos that are encoded with Opus audio. When I play them on the PC they play correctly. When I play them on the Roku client the audio plays but it is garbled (sounds like white noise overlaid) making it unwatchable. I read a few issues suggesting there has been a known issue with Opus format since around 2022 but I have not seen any resolution. There was a suggestion to change the audio setting to force AAC transcoding but that doesn't seem to help on the Roku client.

I can share metadata if that would help but since this appears to be a known issue for a while I'm not sure if this is being worked. If there is no option available, I'll transcode the videos to use a different audio codec. Since Opus appears to be quite popular currently, it seems like having some way to get this to work would be a nice feature.

How is this related to DLNA?

Probably wrong code base. Im not familiar with how jellyfin is broken up for different clients so if dlna is not how the roku transfers content then this issue may not be appropriate.
