[JENKINS-76218] Old blue/red ball icons are back with recent UI changes (ribbon)

We see old Jenkins blue/red balls icons back in the ribbon modal job status (see attached screenshot).

Not sure if it is expected or not. Probably easy to fix, could do that if someone point me in the right direction.

 

 

How to reproduce

1. Start a fresh new Jenkins instance (LTS 2.528.1)
2. Install matrix-project plugin
3. Create a multi configuration project, add a simple 'ls' shell step
4. Execute the project
5. In ribbon navigation bar, you should see the following

  Does the same problem appear with Jenkins 2.528.1?  I'm not able to duplicate the problem with my 2.528.1 installation.  If it does exist with 2.528.1, please provide detailed instructions so that others can duplicate the issue.  "How to report an issue" includes guidelines for the type of information needed.

  Sure, i have updated the ticket, tested it just right now with a fresh new Jenkins 2.528.1, only matrix-project installed, and issue is showing.
