The Account UX is confusing

If it can't connect to the server, it removes the current login information and I have to input them again. And it provides no feedback when it is connecting to the server. It should shows a rolling circle. When it fails to connect to the server it shows a badge. Then if I try to login again it does nothing.

I'd suggest the following changes to the login / account UX:

1: Login via Launch Screen

• When the app is opened and the user is not logged in, a login screen is shown.
• The user can enter their login credentials (server URL, username, password).
• The app validates the login credentials on the login screen.
• If login is successful, the user is redirected to the bookmark list.
• If login fails, an appropriate error message is displayed.

2: View Account Info and Logout

• The "Account" settings page displays server name, logged in user (and server version, if available?).
• The user cannot change login information on this screen.
• A "Log Out" button is available.
• Tapping "Log Out" clears the login data and redirects the user to the login screen.

Also IP:port is straight refused currently, which is a fair self-hosting easy, should definitely be supported.
