It would be very good to add a small test dataset together with the expected output.
I guess there is no need to write unit tests for each function/modules at this point but the main functionalities of Sanity should be tested out explicite.
I would propose the following:
- add
test top lvl directory, inside two subdirectories: input and output. Place a small test data inside the input and all expected output files in the output dirs.
- add a subsection in the README with exact instructions on how to run Sanity on these test data.
Later: add an automated testing mechanism on these data, but I will open a separare issue for that ;)
