Loading group metadata

Hello,

The Python API for the BIOM format allows adding sample- and observation-group metadata. However, that is not currently being loaded by the R package. Would it be possible to add such a feature?

Thanks, @Midnighter! To be specific, the biom-format-2.1.0 file format specification defines group metadata as part of the format.
