Web Clipper: Axios.com pages are not saving article content
The Web Clipper is failing to save content from Axios.com.
When clipping an Axios article, the save action appears to complete, but the resulting clipped item does not include the article body/content. This makes the clip unusable because only partial metadata or an empty capture is saved.
Expected behavior
Clipping an Axios article should save the readable article content, including the main text and relevant metadata.
Actual behavior
The clipped result does not save the article content from Axios pages.
Steps to reproduce
- Open an article on
https://www.axios.com/.
- Use the Web Clipper to save the page.
- Open the saved clip.
- Notice that the article content is missing or not captured correctly.
Notes
This may be related to Axios’ page structure, dynamic rendering, paywall/consent layers, or article extraction rules. The clipper should either correctly extract the article body or fall back to a reliable readable-page capture strategy.
