Description:

The tour repository currently lacks issue templates, which makes it inconsistent. Adding issue templates will standardize the process for creating issues, improving clarity and efficiency for contributors.

Proposed Solution:

  • Add issue templates similar to those in the website repository:
    1. Bug: For reporting bugs.
    2. Feature Request: For suggesting new ideas or features.
    3. Documentation: For proposing documentation updates or fixes.
    4. Other: A blank template for general issues.

Benefits:

  • Ensures consistency in creation of issues and helps contributors create issues more effectively.
  • Makes it easier for maintainers to triage and prioritize issues.

Additional Context:

Templates in the website repository:

Thanks for the proposal Karan. We are trying to keep the codebase as simple as possible trying to minimize the maintenance and evolution efforts. Even though your proposal is great, we don't think it will be necessary for now.
