In the system tab there are now a few functions. It seems to be working, but requires a bit of polishing. For example, the connection is lost if the Control app is updated. Inevitable but UI needs to handle this a bit more cleanly. Same as navigating away from the screen if the script runs for a long time. But core is there. |

Hello Jasper, It looks good. I'm looking forward to seeing it in action. Not trying to appear greedy, but could we add a full system shutdown or halt as well? I thank you for your hard work on all this, |

Good day Jasper, I just installed the updated version, tested the commands, and they work very well. I think I may have used up my request quota for 2025, lol. Thanks, |

Good day Jasper,
This may be a large ask but I would like to know if we could have more control over AIS-catcher when running on a Raspberry Pi.
In my case, I have 2 headless rpi's in an outside building running AIS-catcher, and FlightAware's PiAware. I control AIS-catcher through the 'AIS-Catcher Control' interface, and the PiAware through the PiAware SkyAware web interface.
Since I don't have anything attached to the devices other than SDR's and power, I use the SkyAware interface to update, restart, or shutting down the the PiAaware device before I physically touch it .
For the AIS-catcher device I have to use ssh to update, restart, or shutdown the device. I want to keep the devices completely separate from each other rather than running the 2 programs on the same device.
Is there a way for AIS-Catcher Control to have some additional commands similar to the PiAware controls shown in the attached files?
I referring to the "Upgrade and restart x", "Restart x ", "Reboot device", "Halt device" commands specifically. These commands would make it convenient for upgrading, or physically doing anything with the device.
Thanks,
Mike
