[Bug] Disappearing Ping

After zoning a few times the ping disappeared off my Server bar it shows up if i change how its displayed. So i know its there but wont come back till i relog see Pic

I too have this bug. I can see it when I set the location to any place other than the server bar. The ping graph seems to be working fine too.

Does FPSPlugin do the same thing, if you install that? It added server info bar docking as well, recently.

Wondering if this is a quirk of Dalamud's API I'm not accounting for or if something's actually breaking silently in PingPlugin.

I played a bunch today and went through lots of different zones. The FPSPlugin installed to my server bar never went away. It seems that one doesn't have the same issue as the ping addon here. Hope that helps.

I can confirm the server bar bug whenever I get error 90006, will confirm further if it also happened whenever I log out to turn on vpn, or if switching data center will fix it. Weirdly enough, the log doesn't indicate any error from the pingplugin, it's a server bar exclusive problem.

Edit 1: Can confirm logging out to main menu and turning on vpn (mudfish fastconnect mode) before logging back in will cause the server bar bug.

I played a bunch last night and both the FPS and Ping stayed up for a multi hour session with lots of zone teleporting. Today I have played less than 30 minutes and now both Ping and FPS have disappeared from my server bar. I do not really know what is causing this or how to further troubleshoot to help :(

Seems like this is a Dalamud issue: goatcorp/Dalamud#758 let’s see if it’s fixed after the next Dalamud update.
