You fixed a bug that my friends and I actually liked

Hello Bingosync developers,

My friends and I use bingosync all the time for various games that we invented our own boards for. However, we feel like we play a little differently than everyone else that uses this site. We like to have two simultaneous boards going while also being able to see each others' progress. So our 25 squares were different from each other, but we still got to see how many squares the other one had.

The way we used to do this was we desynced our boards because the website wasn't loading flawlessly when we would load in a second board. Sometimes when one of us would reload a second seed of the board, the other one still had the original board while the other had the brand new board they made. As long as the guy with the old board didn't refresh it worked.

I was just wondering if there was a way to incorporate lobbies of friends who have different goals on their bingo boards while also having access to see each others' progress. Ideally this could be in the same lobby, but I don't know. I just don't want to ask for you to unpatch whatever you did to make rooms now load in smoothly and seamlessly without any trouble or needing to refresh. Please help us! We want to keep using this site, but now it's getting harder for us to do this specific thing that may be only 1% of the community. But if you could help us that would be great :).

Thanks for sharing how you use Bingosync, people continue to surprise me with the creative ways they come up with to use the site, haha. Work is ramping up quite a bit for me recently so I don't think I can promise a specific delivery date, but I'd like to be able to accommodate your use case somehow if I can.

Could you please share a bit more about the specific functionality that you're looking for here? How is this different from having two separate rooms open? Do you mostly want the "clicked a goal" events to show up in the chat log, or do you also want the board colors to be a kind of "combined view" of both of your boards?

It seems like the "combined view" of both of our boards with the colors is closer to what I'm asking for. Each player has their own board of 25 they need to try to get a bingo or double bingo on first. Each player is only allowed to see their own board and not their opponent's board until they check off a square, and then it doesn't matter because we just tell each other what the square was, we still don't see it but we know what it was by communicating. Once my opponent checks off a square, I could see their color pop up on my bingo board on the square that he completed onto my board. So if he completed his top left square challenge, then my top left square would light up in his color after he clicked it. Likewise when I complete the top left square then he would know I completed it because not only is his color there, but now my color is there as well. This is so we can know the live progress. They wouldn't know what I needed to do to win, but they would know how close or far away I am from winning. We rarely use the chat log, we just would see the colors and if someone had a lot of squares we would bust it to try and do as many of our own squares to respond.

It's different from having two seperate rooms because of the fact that we used to know how many squares the other person had so we can change our strategy to a quicker/more luck based one on the fly.

We used to be able to do this two player, so that's the first interest is to get that back. We used to be able to enter in our own custom board and then using the glitch, my friend and I had two seperate boards but still in the same room and the colors used to just update as completed squares. In the chatbox it would tell us the name of the square that it is in the most "updated" non-desynced bingo board, but that doesn't really matter to us.

If this could eventually get to a mode where it can be played with three or four people with different boards but also all of us get updated how each other are doing, that would also be game-changing. Each of us having chosen different colors so we can tell who is doing well and who isn't.
