A label such as resolved or a button to hide certain nodes, which could be dependent on the user as opposed to hiding the node to all users. This could be implemented or done in multiple different ways.

Good idea. Would you want it to function like a "read - unread" state, like an email? Then if another use changes it, it updates to unread? Or like a more final version of the "unreviewed - exploring - concurred - disagree" buttons? Maybe the node is visually backgrounded once a final "concur - disagree" state is selected.
