In general the video models go in ComfyUI/models/diffusion_models
VAE goes into the models/vae folder
CLIP goes in the models/clip folder (but it should autodownload itself)

Image models go in unet or diffusion_models but smaller checkpoints that include the VAE/CLIP go in checkpoints folder.

Was annoying for me too when first getting into this but it's not specific to hunyuan - just ComfyUI in general
