Divination Rod and True Sight Staff not updating target when in off hand

Describe the bug

When using Divination Rod or the True Sight Staff to locate ores, after mining up the currently targeted ore

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

This requires Theurgy for the spell particle for locating. I'm not sure if this is affected when not using Theurgy.

1. Shift+right click a block to set as target of DR/TSS
2. Locate and mine the currently targeted block
3. With the DR/TSS in your off hand, long hold right click to find the next ore.
4. Short press right click to attempt to relocate the new ore found in step 3.
5. See it goes back to where the ore in step 2 was at.

Expected behavior

When locating with long right click with DR/TSS in offhand to also set the new location for short right clicks after.

As described, you need to hold the click until it scans again, so it's not exactly a bug but a QoL requirement

I am holding click until it performs a rescan. The particle moves toward the new location. The issue is I have to rescan every time, it isn't saving the location for short clicks when in the offhand. Attaching a short video with a fresh TSS rod for demonstration. You'll see me do a scan after attuning, but short clicks aren't pointing me to the ore.
