I would really like to see this as I am having some problems viewing data in panels where there are a lot of values. The migration seems to fix this. |

I think if we go same route of supporting older version with same If possible smaller PRs, so it's easier to review . Question did ectd mixin change break kube-prometheus / kube-prometheus-stack or did it all work fine? |

Any update on this? I do not understand why the community should strive to support backwards compatible to this degree as a community. Supporting a version so old as Grafana 7 is a bit crazy in my mind. Grafana supports 2 version at the time, right now it's Grafana 10 and 9, and within a few weeks during Grafana Con, I assume Grafana 11 will get released. And if someone is using grafana 7 they can always use older versions of mixins, just like what was done with kube-state-metric compatibility. But these are my two cents, and I'm not in a position where I know jsonnet, so I can't contribute any changes (which also makes me stuck with Grafana 10 unless this gets resolved). So no matter what you decide, thank you for working on mixins. |

This mixin currently depends on a deprecated version of grafonnet. At Grafana Labs, we're looking to contribute a refactor to the latest version.
Please note the compatibility discussion from a similar effort here:
Asking early if this is likely to be an acceptable contribution?
EDIT this is happenening here:
