Project info

Description: GitHub Analytics (NodeJS) is an application that tracks the open issues in a GitHub repository and then creates charts of specific text patters. The use we currently have for DevStaff is to count :+1:'s in the comments of our issues and create charts with the most upvoted issues.

Getting Started:

Although I have not written code for this project, I am somewhat familiar with it since we are using it. Currently this project can benefit from:

  • Better UI ( Look at https://analytics.devstaff.daknob.net/ :P )
  • Taking into account GitHub reactions as well
  • Speed Improvements (currently it is super slow due to the excessive amount of API queries)
  • Fixing the open bug in the Issues
