Compiler version and settings?

Could you also provide the compiler version and whether optimization was enabled in the readme? So we can validate the contract code?

Hmm... I do not remember exactly what was the version when I compiled the contract.

I used the command line in build.bash:

solc --inout-file etherid.sol --binary file --json-abi file

So, no special optimization.

Did you build solc from source? I've built a quick little script to compile against all releases of solidity, with and without optimization, and I haven't been able to get a match against your bytecode...

I've working on a project that I would like to incorporate etherid into, but my system doesn't allow unverified contracts to be referenced... I'll keep trying different tweaks; maybe there is a problem with my verify script.

No. I did not compile solc.

The code for the contract was last time compiled Nov 29, 2015. I am sure I used the version of solc available that time.

The version I have now on my computer:

solc, the solidity compiler commandline interface 0.9.25

Hopefully it is the one I used.
