I upgraded to owncloud 9.2 on Ubuntu 16.04

I did try as you suggested but it seems as if scanning for new media goes on for ever and the progress bar never changes? I tried resetting the music library.

@tony5 please check your mysql version. If it is 5.7, disable all sql_mode by adding [mysqld]sql_mode= to your my.cnf which is in /etc/mysql/ in ubuntu, then restart mysql service.
