Multiple notes per task #23
Description
Just taking a look at Tasksplus in a separate installation, considering a switch to the "plus suite":
I miss the possibility to add multiple notes, which is available in the "original notes app" (below the editable "main notes" field, and called "comments" there): I regularly use those e.g. for "call notes" with tasks requiring multiple calls etc. to track progress (though other than there, I'd like them to be editable as well). Being able to attach/link files (could be stored in a special folder of the files app) would be a big bonus as well 😇
Use cases explained with examples:
- A task requires feedback from a second party, which I need to call. Each call I get a single bit of information (like "oh, we're still not ready – waiting for X, please call back on Y") – so I add a call note with that. On call number 8 I can then give detailed information why "the other end" should "get their skates on".
- working on a task and being interrupted, I want to add a note what was done and where to pick up, or what needs to be thought of in context of the task.
- Still planning what to do, adding "brainstorming pieces" until a clear "plan of action" develops
I also miss the "overview" in the sidebar (which obviously is replaced by the popup, but was more detailed in the "original tasks" app), but that might be just a "getting used to" – while the lack of the comment functionality makes Tasksplus "not an option" for me (currently, if the "old tasks" had subtasks, I'd be almost happy with that).
