Trying to create a VM, provisioning script does not run

I'm trying to create a VM with a provisioning script. This is my cross-compile.yaml:

This does not run the provisioning script. When I open a shell in the VM, there's a lima.REJECTED.yaml whose contents is identical to my config.

What do I need to do to run the provisioning script?

I think if you put your script on one line, it will become a comment...

So you want to use |, like in the examples. See also https://yaml.org/

Scalar content can be written in block notation, using a literal style (indicated by “|”) where all line breaks are significant. Alternatively, they can be written with the folded style (denoted by “>”) where each line break is folded to a space unless it ends an empty or a more-indented line.

Oh wow - thank you so much! I didn't know I could look at the log inside the VM, but that indeed does explain it.

I think the problem is related to vmType: "vz" since the provisioning script runs when I use qemu. However @EdwardMoyse seems to have the problem even with qemu.

Hi @flyx - no, I'm sorry I made a mistake with the yaml (see above). It works now for me.
