Hi,

I don't think the USB shield should be connected directly to ground. I use the scheme you can see in this circuit diagram:

Looking forward to building this, though I will wait to hear how it goes with 1.6 having read #3

BTW, if you have spare PCBs you wouldn't mind selling, let me know!
