RTL-SDR V4 Dongle question

Hi there,

I am looking to get started with PiSDR and I need some help before I purchase my SDR dongle.

I was wondering if the RTL-SDR V4 dongle is supported? I'm admittedly a novice with Linux and am hoping for as seamless an 'out of the box' setup I can get, and whether the V4 is supported natively or not will decide whether I purchase the V4 or V3 RTL dongle. I only ask as the V4, from what I have read, has a different custom driver to the earlier models. Any help is greatly appreciated!
