For example, entering R in the search box produces no results. I understand it's probably inefficient to list every single port with a given letter in its name, but exact matches at least should be displayed in this case.

As it happens, there are currently five such ports: e, n, q, R, and z. Two-character port names seems to work fine.

If there are no exact matches for a one-character query (or maybe even if there are?), it would be helpful to display a message explaining that you need to enter more than one character to get partial matches.

Not sure if this qualifies as a bug or as a feature ... I added a bug label for now.

Not being able to access some ports is certainly a bug. Admittedly the last paragraph is more of a feature request though.
