I just spun up Cloudlog, and I'd like to sync up QSOs that I have stored in my QRZ logbook - so I exported to ADIF from QRZ and imported into Cloudlog. However, the station locations all show as my QTH and the MY_GRIDSQARE gets ignored. This is expected behavior, and I understand why this choice was made from a design standpoint.
This isn't a new problem - this has been discussed briefly in #1228 - with that said, there was no real solution there for creating Station Locations when importing a large logbook. AFAICT, it has to be done manually.
I have about 20ish different operating locations in my QRZ logbook, and my current plan of action is to create them manually, do some
grep
magic to pull the relevant QSOs out of my ADIF file and split them separate files (one for each location).Does anyone else have a better solution to this problem - or any advice if you've dealt with the same issue?
Thankfully, ~20 operating locations isn't a lot to do by hand, but I can't imagine what I'd do if I had many more than that (I'd probably script it at that point)
