The current project is based entirely around GitHub Codespaces, and making branches by forking from GitHub repos.

It would be good if the project could also support code hosted on SourceForge

This might work by accessing the Sourceforge repos, downloading the code, and creating a repo appended with -sourceforge, instead of the default forking approach.

The path towards doing this is not as immediately clear as adding support for GitLab and Bitbucket.
