Linting / Project Re-Organization

Since I'm using vscode now and I've started to clean up the project and have at least a little bit of type safety, it might be time to look into getting a linter to use with the project. Not sure how deep I wanna go on this yet but we'll see. There are some files that could use some re-organization too, most of the cog files are over a thousand lines long, which doesn't sit right with me, though I'm not sure I want to split each and every command up into its own file. We'll see.
