Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. I have not found any documentation about cleanly shutting down an HDFS-Mesos instance (for later restart, without losing data)--for instance, in the case of planned maintenance. The documentation in the readme recommends removing all configuration in Zookeeper and the entire data directory, which essentially formats the HDFS instance.
Is a clean shutdown possible with the current implementation?
(Thanks!)
