Recommended rule/setting?

What is the recommended rule/setting? 20-80? 30-80? 40-80? or 75-80 as can be able to see in readme on screenshot?

75-80 are Apple’s values, that’s why I picked them. I’m not aware of any other general recommendation. It doesn’t make sense to make the gap overly large though.

No, their recommendation is to keep the charge level within that range, not to forcibly cycle between the two. The lower threshold setting in BT is only to prevent micro-charging, while providing a sufficiently high level to unplug and work whenever. It can still be used for other purposes of course, but the only valid use case I’ve seen was someone doing benchmarks.

What is the usecase for FORCIBLY(?) cycle between 75-80?

It doesn’t, it stays at whatever level it’s at between 75 and 80 until trickle-discharge or off-AC use knock it out of the range.
