You also need to reboot the machine or disable background activity from within Battery Toolkit or System Settings. Tying charge limiting to whether the app is open makes no sense, because charge limiting is a platform state (global) and whether the app is open is a user state. What happens when two users are logged in and one closes the app, while the other still has it open? I thought about a menu option to pause the background activity, but unsure what the use-case would even be. |

Hello, I want to know if to uninstall the app I need to do any extra things or just drag it into the trash and empty it.
It's just that when I close the app it still limits charging, I want it to only limit charging when the app is open. So I suspect that after uninstalling it it will still limit the charge even though it's uninstalled from the computer.
