I want to color python properties with a different color than regular attributes. Currently, there is no difference between their textMate and semantic tokens, but the IDE actually CAN distinguish between them, as seen in the tooltip:

should make the request to the up stream grammar https://github.com/MagicStack/MagicPython
however it seems abandoned

@alexr00 is there already a request for a new python grammar?

No plan to replace the python grammar right now. But this does sound like something semantic tokens in the Python extension could do.
