Overrides still aren't working

As the name implies, tile overides do not work. I am on the latest LNP yet this issue has persisted since the start of the year. I have so far found no fix. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please let me know what I should do to reproduce the problem. There's a lot of tilesets using tile overrides and they work, so I guess you're doing something special?

I'm not sure if I can replicate the problem, as I'm truly not entirely sure what triggered it. I'll reinstall the starter pack and if it persists I'll contact you. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I just did a clean reinstallation, and the problem is still persisting. U/D stairs are X's, all units have a weird border on them, picks are /'s, etc. I have not changed anything in the starter pack. Could it be my graphic settings I've changed in nVidia control panel? I really don't know what else it could be.
