Develop on v4.1 while main prepares Core 4.0. Adopt released QDMI 1.4 through independent metadata-cleanup, replaceable-driver, and native-batching streams. Shared static Slurm deployment, its Dockerized fixture, canonical documentation, and both provider migrations target MQSF. Program capabilities are a priority, not a release blocker; public simulator metadata remains design-gated. Availability scheduling has no implementation commitment until its separate design is agreed. Standard driver discovery and QDMI v2 are out of scope.
For QDMI interface changes, require a working Core consumer and at least one existing provider demonstration, preferably both where applicable; compatibility evidence suffices when no provider changes are needed. Release artifacts require released dependencies. Coordination: #2093.
