macos fduoes-gui don't work anymore after update

Hello, I updates fdupes with brew upgrade and download fdupes-gui, but fdupes-gui don't work anymore.
what can I do ?

can you describe what is going wrong? do you get an error message?

Try running the program from the terminal and post the output here. for example:

actual when I click on fdupes App, App opens for a second and closes immediately

yes Version 0.3.1 (7)
fdupes-gui starts only from shell not in Applications

Try resetting its permissions in macOS settings. Reinstall the software too.

Latest version should always print

flutter: valid initialDirs=

But I don't see that line in your output. That's why I think you're running a different version

I deleted all old versions and download Mac version 0.3.0

Here's how it works on my laptop running macos 15.7.1 using the latest version 0.3.1:

After downloading, extract archive and double click app file, it gives this popup, click "Done":

Open System settings > Privacy and security. Scroll down, click "Open anyway":

Click "Open anyway", again:

Authenticate to allow the action:

The application opens.
