How to speed up the execution of step 4? Can multithreading be used? How to perform multithreaded execution？

Currently, we use Data Parallelism for GPU parallelization, which could potentially be improved by switching to Distributed Data Parallelism (DDP). You may find it helpful to take a look at our source code here:
