Refresh makes "candidates" disappear in firefox

When i refresh the webpage (https://ncase.me/ballot/) in firefox 70.0 on linux, the squares/triangles/etc don't load again. Also tested with addons disabled. The page works correctly on the first load or if i close/reopen the tab.

Everything seems to work correctly in chromium.

Can confirm this in Firefox 80.0.1. If I click and then move the mouse inside of the canvas, the squares/triangles/etc appear again for this canvas. Closing an reopening the tab works fine, so maybe this is a Firefox problem.
