Release please supports go and we should use it to release new version of the repo https://github.com/marketplace/actions/release-please-action

You can look at k8s-kurated-addons to see an example of the configuration, for the repo it would be nice if we could release a go binary on release.

Reminder: release-please require the use of conventional-commits
