Hello Romain, The CMake Generate step failed. Build files cannot be regenerated correctly." I am actually clueless about how I can figure it out, and I have installed the source code in zip file where link is given below, which is taken from your website suggestions. After extracting the file and following the command from this installation file, I got the error message. What should I do right now? Do I have to uninstall the Neper of the previous version, which I am using, v 4.10.1, or can you please provide me the latest version if possible? It would be really helpful if you could look into this matter and provide me with a solution for updating to the latest version. link: https://neper.info/downloads.html#latest-version Regards, |

Hello Romain,
Can you please tell me from where I I should check that these files are
present or not? I am using version 4.10.1 right now, so should I uninstall
that and start from the beginning, or just update to the new version as it
is? Still, if I try to update the new version, it's creating an error, and
I have downloaded the main source from the link you have shared.

exists, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't.

Hello Romain,
Since I am using your recommended command, that is (neper -M file.tesr -elt
hex -rcl 0.5), here we are directly converting tesr to mesh, so in this
case, I want the file to be directly inverse the image to create upside
down, what will be the updated command in Neper? I have attached the tesr
file so I want to make it inverse and then I want to create mesh on it.

I'll reply here, although it's not related to the original discussion.
It's because the y axis of EBSD maps points downwards, while Neper plot 2D
tessellations with y pointing upwards.
You'll need to invert the vertical direction using -camerasky 0:-1:0, and
also invert the z camera position using -cameracoo x:y:<z_pos>, where
<z_pos> is a negative position.
Here is an example:
neper -T -n 10 -dim 2
neper -V n10-id1.tess -print img1
neper -V n10-id1.tess -cameracoo x:y:-5.333333 -camerasky 0:-1:0 -print img2

I have used this command perfectly as per your suggestion and created the
PNG file, which I have attached here. However, if I want to see the
original mesh file using the command gmsh mesh_ud.mesh then it creates the
earlier one that is without upside-down formation, which I do not want
because I want the mesh file to be upside down.

mesh_ud.msh -cameracoo x:y:-5.333333 -camerasky 0:-1:0 -print mesh

This was an example with a tess file, but the same options work with a
tesr or a mesh. You'll have to learn how to use Neper ;)
