download button bug #293

Hi Folks, I witnessed a netnet bug today so I thought I'd pass it along. A student tried to 'download code' to test something and as soon as they did so it broke the connection with github and the images in their site disappeared in the preview window. Once they reconnected it was fine but for some reason 'download code' force logged them out!
I was able to recreate the bug (on Mac/Firefox) by:
- creating a new project
- uploading three images
- updating code + committing my changes
- opening menu and choosing "downloadProject()"
then the Project Files widget, which was previously listing assets like this:
