Better indication of transfer sucess / fail

At the moment the transfer occurs on the rclone side and the user has to go and check the logs to see whether the transfer completely properlly. It would be much better to check the rlcone side (hopefully it can be made to return a code based on issues encountered in the error (nice)) or search the log file for any errors and propagate to the user (not nice). For example, it is currently confusing if the transfer fails due to a bad central path over SSH.

A symptom of this is that transfer appears to be successful for an empty project #536

A quick-and-easy fix is to at least expose the 'view most recent logs' button on the transfer-finished screen, because it is annoying to have to keep switching screens to check it.

Can use rclone error codes to handle this, at least in terms of throwing error when no transfer occurs. Rclone error codes. We can wait for user feedback before deciding on a best way forward.

When handling the return codes, also look at the best way to report them (if at all) in suggest_next_sub_or_ses

Would it be possible to include the filenames of any files that failed to transfer (e.g., due to it still being written) in the logs?

Hey that's a nice idea, I think that would be useful. For some reason the RClone logs only show the last error and do not seem to include the file name (although logging is set to verbose). However maybe there is a setting to fix this, if we can get RClone to write the information we can definitely display it!

I have my derivatives folder in central and the local folder empty. I set as transferring options: custom, funcimg only and download.
When transferring finishes I do not know if it was successful or not, just says to check the logs (which took me a while to understand where they are 😂) - it didn't downloaded anything I don't know why 🙁
Validate says that the local does not have derivatives folder, which is true... could it just get created automatically?
