"Illegal Instruction" during build

Whenever I try to install nixGL on certain machines, I get an error saying something about an illegal instruction before the build fails. This is especially annoying as it happens right at the end of the build process. Because this only seems to affect my older machines, I'm guessing something requires either AVX or AVX2 support from the CPU, which some of my machines don't have. It seems like this has something to do with GMMULT, whatever that is.

Just a quick update, I've discovered two things. First, I can install this software on a laptop, which doesn't support AVX, so that's not the issue. Second, the only machine that fails to install nixGL lacks support for SSE4, while the laptop does not. Clearly, my issue is a lack of SSE4 support. (I've recently had to remove Waterfox from that machine for that exact reason.)

That said, as a workaround, does anyone know of a good way to export Nix packages from one machine to another?
