how to use kiroforcc plugin to connect local claude

I've configured Claude-Code to connect to a local model and customized the URL and auth_token accordingly, but the extension in VS Code still seems to be connecting to the Anthropic Console. How can I modify the extension's configurations, especially the anthropic_base_url and anthropic_auth_token parameters used for connecting to Claude?

Hi @dydy-94,

kiro-for-cc is a visual layer on top of the Claude Code CLI - it doesn't handle API connections directly. So you need to configure Claude Code itself.

Steps to connect to a local/custom model:

1. Disable login prompt in VSCode:

   • Settings → search claudeCode.disableLoginPrompt → check the box

2. Configure environment variables in ~/.claude/settings.json:

       "ANTHROPIC_API_KEY": "your-api-key"
     }
   }

   Or use ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN if your endpoint uses Bearer token auth.

3. Restart VSCode.
