Win 10 + Makerware Desktop 3.8.1 == "Error: invalid profile (missing miracle.json) ..."

OS: Windows 10 - 64 bit
Makerware Desktop 3.8.1

I've tried a bunch of different things, including running as admin, adding an explicit path, but I keep seeing the same error:

"Error: invalid profile (missing miracle.json). ..."

I've verified the 'miracle.json' files exist in the profile paths found. The app does open, and I see the profile folders I created. I looked for a way to turn on debug output, as the source seems to log some, but couldn't figure out a way to turn it on. Also, logging exceptions might be a nice addition, at least when run from the console/command line.

The reason I'm using this is to be able to adjust the cooling fan and possibly have different first layer temperatures on my FlashForge Creator Pro. Makerware seems to recognize the device, and it prints OK, but it's limited in the settings it exposes.

I can verify this problem, as I am seeing the same exact thing here. PT sees correct folder, and the json is in it, but it reports "Error: invalid profile (missing miracle.json). ..." as stated by OP. Attempted with multiple profiles all the same issue.
