[QUESTION] When I use ChatClient.CompleteChat I receive a 302 response

How can we help?

I am trying to use the Basic ChatClient sample code of just creating a ChatClient and then calling CompleteChat()
passing it a string with the text of the question.

Every time I execute the code I receive a 302 Temporarily moved response.
Any help in identifying the cause would be helpful

Hi @DLRRoberts. Thanks for reaching out and we regret that you're experiencing difficulties. There are no documented OpenAI REST endpoints that intentionally return a 302. Generally, the common scenarios that cause this are:

• You’re calling the wrong URL (e.g., https://openai.com/api instead of https://api.openai.com/v1/...) and the service is redirecting.
• A proxy, firewall, or API gateway in front of your call is intercepting the request and responding.

Unfortunately, other than suggesting that you ensure that you're using the latest package version to ensure the URL is correct there's little help we can provide. It you wanted to share the exact library version and code that you're using, we're happy to take a look. However, it's very likely that you'll need to troubleshoot your local network environment.
