This pre-release fixes the configuration for the XRootD LCMAPS configuration for CMS XCache, StashCache Caches and Origins

This release adds the ATLAS and CMS XCaches

XCache 1.0.5

This release fixes the systemd service files to ensure that the services do not start up until after the network is up.

XCache 1.0.3

This fixes a syntax error in the overrides files for stash-origin that caused the service to fail to start.

XCache 1.0.2

This contains a variety of packaging and configuration changes:

• Add missing xrootd-lcmaps dependency for the origin
• Start and stop xrootd and cmsd together for the origin (SOFTWARE-3544)
• Drop workaround for LIGO not being part of the OSG Data Federation (SOFTWARE-3507)
• Start proxy renewal script for both unauth and auth cache and origin instances;
  only mandatory for auth cache
• Fix permissions in tmpfiles.d config for cache
• Add vo-client and voms-clients-cpp dependency
• Proxy renewal script now uses voms-proxy-init instead of grid-proxy-init
• "sitename" xrootd config variable in 10-common-site-local.cfg renamed to "resourcename"

XCache stable release

This is the 1.0.1 release of XCache which contains improvements to make the configuration more understandable. There are no source code changes compared to 1.0.0.

XCache Stable Release

This represents the first release of the OSG XCache packaging.

The release contains a complete overhaul of the packages and configuration files. Significant parts of the configuration are refactored to use config.d-style directories and all of the systemd services & RPM sub-packages have been renamed. Authorization for both caches and origins are automatically synchronized with the OSG topology service.

The new release provides significant improvements, especially for running origins: this comes at the cost of very different configuration approaches. We strongly recommend sites attempting upgrades to consider this to be the same amount of work as a reinstall of the package.

Second preview release of the upcoming xcache stable

This is the second release candidate for xcache-1.0.0. It includes all the changes in the first release candidate v1.0.0-rc1, as well as auto-generation of the origin's authfile and some config syntax bugfixes.

Preview release of the upcoming xcache stable

This is the first release candidate for xcache-1.0.0.

xcache-1.0.0 represents a milestone in the xcache project as it significantly increases the automation of the configuration files (for example, we now auto-generate the authfile for registered servers) and reduces the number of administrator steps required to run the service.

This preview release is missing a single feature - the auto-generation of the origin's authfile. This feature is expected for the final tag.

Update spec file and improvements to stats

• Remove condor daemon dependency from stats reporter
• Use systemd timer to periodically report stats
• Modify stats reporter to use python multiprocessing so ad won't expire during a long collection run
• Update XRootD cinfo parser to format v2
