Steam not detecting virtual gamepad after starting stream (until I restart steam) #1032
-
Select Topic AreaBug BodyJust recently, I think after a Windows 11 update? Whenever I start a stream no controller input is detected in big picture mode or in a game :( Which makes it hard to use on my steam deck. Have upgraded vigembus and can each time I'm able to switch to something like html5gamepad.com and the controller shows up fine. So the bug seems to more be with steam than anything else? I can get it to work if I kill steam during an active stream and start it up again, however that's not a useful workaround. Particularly as it breaks useful utilities like moondeck. Not sure where the best place for this discussion is, or if others are able to replicate? |

Does the Sunshine ui actually show vigembus is installed, on the troubleshooting tab? |

Sorry, this just started working again. And I tried so many different things, I don't know what caused it.
But yes vigembus was showing up as was the virtual controller in device manager.
I suspect the bug was a steam based one as it wasn't showing a reliably detected controller there.
