Automatically pre-appending flatpak-spawn --host when necessary

According to the documentation, you always must manually prepend flatpak-spawn --host for the flatpak to launch applications. If this is the case, why does the flatpak version of the application not instead prepend this automatically?

I use a pattern like this when developing a flatpak/system packaged app that needs to run commands on host. Would a similar solution work for Sunshine?

Yes, something like that could work. I've had an idea to do it automatically as well, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
